Family and friends.....follow along with us as we make our way across the United States by bicycle. The six of us will depart the west coast on June 14, 2010....three friends by bike and three family members by car....in hopes of reaching the east coast in 8 weeks. Great Weekend

The weather turned out almost perfect for Saturday's riding. Sunday was not the best, but still good for riding. Our riding group had plans of getting a lot of miles in. The weekend mileage ended up looking like this: Kyle - 90 miles....Steve - 140 miles....Bobby - 0 miles.

I am almost positive that I explained the trip to Bobby as a trip across the country. I hope he didn't think I said "across the county". Maybe he is just confused as to his mode of transportation. Maybe he was thinking more of something like this:

    Great news!! My wife said it is ok if I go with you guys on the excursion. More great news!! Bike to mo-ped kits are now $199.00, down $100. This trip across the good ol' U.S.A. will be a breeze.
